Cirencester Opportunity Group, known locally as COG, is an independent charity delivering specialist and high-quality early intervention services and education programmes to children in their early years and support for their families.
As a specialist early years centre and charity, our vision is to create positive beginnings for young children and families, ensuring that our services are delivered to those who most need our support.
Founded in 1973, COG has been providing enriching and stimulating learning experiences to generations of children for more than 50 years, taking an holistic approach to improving opportunities for lifelong learning and success.
Pre-School for children aged 2-4 years.
Ofsted registered and specialising in supporting children with a variety of additional needs, including special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). As a charity, COG aims to provide a higher ratio of adults to children; offering time and space, highly trained, experienced staff, and a variety of learning environments and therapies to help each child make progress from their own starting points. Family Support
Stay and Play toddler sessions, parent/carer groups, information and 1-1 sessions are available to families of children from birth. With a supportive, nurturing ethos, COG's Early Intervention Outreach Team offers thoughtfully and specifically designed support, information and advice for families of children with complex needs, often working in partnership with COG's own SENDCOs (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinators), as well as those facing parenting challenges for many different reasons; following a multi-agency approach to ensure the best outcomes for children and their families. Offering a child-centred, play-based approach to learning, COG early years centre is situated in beautiful grounds in Beeches Road, Cirencester, and is proud of the facilities and services provided to the local community.

Having a baby brings a wonderful world of new experiences but we know this comes with many questions and parenting challenges. We're here for you to celebrate those beautiful moments and to offer parenting advice; to help you and your child make new friends, by attending our toddler groups, and through 1-1 chats for more specific support. We work alongside other groups and agencies in our local community to offer an holistic approach to helping you navigate your child's early years.
