We are currently seeking new Trustees
and need people with a willingness to work as part of a team to oversee and encourage the future development of COG. Trustees must work with integrity, objectivity and openness.
All COG Trustees are unpaid volunteers. We are looking for people with life experiences who would be of benefit to COG. Desirable skill sets and experience would include any of the following: Early Years Education; Education; Human Resources; Legal; Company Secretary; Finance; IT; and Fundraising.
Early next year the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustees will become available. We are keen to hear from people who would be willing to fulfil this vital role in addition to being a Trustee, and ask that you indicate this in your application.
We expect our Trustees to have a strong commitment to the organisation. They must be willing and able to commit to attending board meetings on a regular basis, and to be able to contribute positively and constructively to the debate. Normally meetings are in the evening, starting at 6.15 pm, and last approximately two hours. Over and above this, there is an anticipation that Trustees will become involved in, and follow up on various projects which may involve their particular skills, in their own time.
To apply please email our Trustees in the first instance.
