Sponsored Ironman Completed in Aid of Cirencester Opportunty Group
Stephen Makin father of Benedict (pictured above) completed his Ironman event in aid of Cirencester Opportunity Group on 7 September 2008.
He completed a 2.4-mile swim, a 113.2 mile cycle and 26.2 mile run all in 13 hours 56 minutes and 31 seconds.. 1,625 entered and Stephen came a very commendable 857th.
Stephen says: "Yesterday was VERY long. Glad I did it but never again!"
